Two weeks of Europe, fully funded
With Erasmus+ and the Franco-German Youth Office we travel to Europe with groups from Dortmund every year. And bring groups to us.
No CV, no grades, no language test
Youth exchanges bring groups from several countries together for one to three weeks. You work on a topic, for example art and AI, democracy or participation, get to know each other and explore the city.
The group from Dortmund is a colourful mix, many travel abroad without their family for the first time. We prepare you and are there the whole time.
- Travel, accommodation and food are covered by the programme
- English is enough, many programmes run in several languages
- At the end you receive a Youthpass certificate for your CV
- Age usually 16 to 27, trainings from 18

Find a call
We post open places on Instagram and here on the site: topic, place, dates, age.

Apply briefly
A few sentences about you and why you want to join. No CV, no grades.

Preparation meeting
We meet in Dortmund, sort out travel and programme and get to know the group.

Off you go
One to three weeks of workshops, trips and evenings with people from all over Europe. At the end: Youthpass.
Coming up with us
Together with VMDO, Haus der Vielfalt and ESN Bochum. Accommodation in four-bed rooms, three meals a day, travel costs reimbursed.
Training of Trainers
Competencies for working with young people who experience exclusion: non-formal education, ETS competence model, intercultural teamwork.

No. For Erasmus+ places it is enough to live in the region and be in the right age range. Members do hear about new calls first, though.
Travel, accommodation and food are billed through Erasmus+ or the DFJW. You need pocket money for souvenirs and a valid ID card or passport.
For many youth exchanges yes, from 16 with parental consent. Trainings are usually from 18. Each call says so.
Good enough to introduce yourself and ask questions. The rest comes on site, and the group helps each other.
